Do I need a permit for a metal building foundation?
In most of Central Virginia, yes — you'll need a building permit and an engineered foundation plan matched to your building manufacturer's specs. We can pour to the plan you provide, and help point you in the right direction if you don't have one yet.
How thick does a metal building slab need to be?
Typically 4"–6" of reinforced concrete, but the exact thickness depends on your building's footprint, intended use, and local frost depth. We size the slab to your building's engineering requirements.
Do you supply and erect the metal building too?
We focus on what we do best — the concrete foundation. We coordinate with trusted, licensed metal building suppliers and erectors in the area, so your project moves smoothly from slab to steel with one point of contact for the concrete.
